Information for HSE applicants taking part in the International Youth Olympiad

Please note that the English test is NOT one of the Olympiad’s field-specific competitions.

The test results may be very useful if you are planning to apply to one of the following HSE undergraduate programmes:

• Foreign Languages and Cross-cultural Communication;
• Philology;
• Journalism;
• Media Communications;
• Advertising and Public Relations;
• Asian Studies;
• International Relations;
• Sociology;
• Political Science;
• World Economy;
• History of Art;
• Fundamental and Computer Linguistics;
• Fashion;
• Political Science and World Politics (HSE St. Petersburg campus);
• Sociology and Social Informatics (HSE St. Petersburg campus);
• International Business and Management (HSE St. Petersburg campus).

Please refer to the schedule for more information about the date and time of the English test sessions.

Make sure you have your ID (containing your photo) and a black or blue pen to take part in the test. Please also remember your number online registration number as a participant of the International Olympiad Competitions.

Please note that you CANNOT use dictionaries or reference books during the English test.
