The Competition in Information Technology is held online and lasts 240 minutes. The Competition assignment consists of 4–5 tasks. The tasks require a computer with installed development environments, compilers, text editor, and spreadsheet editor.
The tasks can be solved in one of the following ways:
- by writing a programme using one of the specified programming languages (including C++, Python, Java);
or
- by providing the text output resulting from the input data being processed by the participant's program using spreadsheet or text editor.
The solutions for various tasks can be written in different programming languages. The solution is checked using an automatic testing system for a predefined test set. Each successfully completed test gives the participant a certain number of points. The tasks requiring data processing may be assessed by another system, which is described in the task.
No literature sources, records, electronic devices are allowed during the online competition.
